First Service Credit Union Launches ‘First Service Feeds’ Food Drive to Support Houston Families in Need

HOUSTON, TX — [11/21/2025] — As food insecurity continues to impact families across Houston, First Service Credit Union is stepping in to help. Through its community initiative, First Service Feeds, the credit union is partnering with the Houston Food Bank to collect donations of non-perishable food items from November 14 through December 15.

During this time, anyone in the community is encouraged to drop off food items such as canned goods, pasta, rice, and other shelf-stable groceries at any of First Service’s 14 branches throughout the Greater Houston area.

“We know that many of our neighbors are struggling to put food on the table this season,” said Candice Harris, Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of First Service Credit Union. “As a credit union, we exist to serve our community, and that means showing up when our neighbors need us most.”

All donations will directly benefit the Houston Food Bank, ensuring that families across the Greater Houston Area have access to nutritious meals during the holidays and beyond.
