Sponsor: First Service Credit Union (“Sponsor” or “First Service”), 16430 Park Ten Place, Houston, Texas 77084. 

First Service is conducting the "Fuel Your Fall Giveaway" (the "Giveaway"). First Service reserves the right to determine the eligibility of any entrant. Entrants determined to be ineligible will forfeit any prize.

Eligibility: The Fuel Your Fall Giveaway is open to legal residents of the State of Texas who are at least eighteen (18) years of age as of the date of entry.  Employees of Sponsor, its subsidiaries, their directors and volunteers, and members of their respective immediate families (spouses, parents, children and siblings), regardless of where they reside, and household members of such employees are not eligible to enter. By participating in the Giveaway, you agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all respects. Participation in the Giveaway will not affect any credit decision, loan terms, underwriting criteria, or approval process for any product or service offered by First Service. Void where prohibited by law.

Entry Period: The Fuel Your Fall Giveaway begins at 12:00:01 a.m. CDT on September 1, 2026, and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. CDT on September 30, 2026.

How to Enter: NO PURCHASE OR ACCOUNT OPENING IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR ACCOUNT OPENING WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. Applying for a loan or any other product or service will not improve an entrant’s chances of winning. The Alternate Method of Entry (“AMOE”) described below is equally available and will be treated in the same manner as all other entries.

There are only two (2) methods of entering the Giveaway: (i) by submitting an eligible auto loan application with First Service during the Entry Period, or (ii) by using the AMOE described below. No other method of entry is permitted.

Eligible individuals may receive one (1) entry into the Giveaway by submitting an application for a new or used vehicle loan or an auto loan refinance with First Service during the Entry Period. Only complete and bona fide auto loan applications received during the Entry Period are eligible. Applications submitted in person at a First Service branch will be entered into the applicable branch’s drawing. Applications submitted online will be entered into the online Giveaway drawing. Limit one (1) entry per person during the Entry Period, regardless of the number of eligible auto loan applications submitted.

Alternate Method of Entry (AMOE): To enter without applying for an auto loan, eligible individuals may complete the official online entry form available at https://www.fscu.com/fuel-your-fall/enter. Entrants must provide all required information, including full name, phone number, email address, and ZIP code. Limit one (1) entry per person via this method. AMOE entries will be entered into the online Giveaway drawing. 

All entries, regardless of method, will have an equal chance of winning within the applicable drawing. Limit one (1) entry per person during the Entry Period, regardless of method of entry. In-person auto loan applications will be entered into the drawing for the First Service branch where the application was submitted. Online auto loan applications and Alternate Method of Entry (AMOE) submissions will be entered into the online drawing. Duplicate entries will be void. Odds of winning vary by branch and depend on the number of eligible entries assigned to each branch, and the number of eligible entries assigned to the online drawing. 

Entries generated through automated means, bots, scripts, artificial intelligence, or other unauthorized methods are void. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who attempts to circumvent these Official Rules or otherwise interfere with the proper operation of the Giveaway.

Drawing: One (1) winner will be randomly selected from the eligible entries received for each participating First Service branch during the Entry Period, and one (1) winner will be randomly selected from all eligible online entries, including eligible online auto loan applications and AMOE submissions, received during the Entry Period. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received in the applicable drawing. Winners do not need to be present to win. Winners will be notified by phone and/or email using the contact information provided. The drawing will be conducted on October 6, 2026, by 5:00 p.m. CDT. Sponsor is not responsible for failed attempts to notify any winner due to inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated contact information provided by the entrant.

Prize: One (1) winner will be selected for each participating First Service branch, and one (1) additional winner will be selected from the online drawing. Each winner will receive one (1) Shell Gas Card with an approximate retail value ("ARV") of two hundred dollars ($200.00). The Shell Gas Card is issued by a third-party financial institution and is subject to the issuer's terms and conditions. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged gift cards. Winners are solely responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local taxes associated with acceptance and use of the prize. This Giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Shell®, Facebook, Instagram, or Meta.

Publicity: By accepting the prize, the winner grants permission for First Service and/or its designees to use his/her name, photographs, voice and/or other likeness and prize information for publicity and promotional purposes without further compensation, notice, review, or consent, unless prohibited by law and subject to any required consent under applicable law, in any and all forms of media, worldwide in perpetuity.

General Conditions:  First Service reserves the right to cancel, suspend and/or modify the Giveaway, or any part of it, if any fraud, technical failures, natural disaster, human error or any other factor beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control, including but not limited to cyberattacks, system outages, technical malfunctions, or changes in applicable laws or regulations, impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Giveaway, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. In such event, Sponsor, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to award the prize at random from among the eligible entries received up to the time of the impairment. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Giveaway or to be acting in violation of the Official Rules. Sponsor also reserves the right to verify the eligibility of any entrant and to void any entry that Sponsor determines was submitted through fraudulent means or otherwise in violation of these Official Rules. Any attempt by any person to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the Giveaway may be a violation of criminal and/or civil law, and should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such person as allowed by applicable law. Sponsor’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.

No Inducement: Entry into the Giveaway is not conditioned on becoming a member, opening an account, or maintaining any account relationship with First Service Credit Union and will not influence any financial decision-making or eligibility determination by First Service. 

Prize Claim: To claim the prize, the winner must, within five (5) calendar days after notification: (i) sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Publicity Release (where permitted by law), and any other documents reasonably requested by Sponsor; and (ii) claim and pick up the Visa® Gift Shell Gas Card in person at the First Service branch from which the prize was awarded, unless otherwise approved in writing by Sponsor.

If a winner fails to timely return the required documents, fails to timely claim or pick up the prize, is determined to be ineligible, or otherwise fails to comply with these Official Rules, Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, declare the prize forfeited and select an alternate winner. The prize will be awarded only upon verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules. No cash or other substitute prize will be provided, except as expressly provided in these Official Rules. Sponsor is not responsible for delays in prize delivery or pickup resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

Compliance with the Law: All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of you and First Service in connection with the Giveaway, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Texas, without giving effect to any choice of law provisions. All applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. 

Disputes: BY PARTICIPATING IN THE GIVEAWAY, YOU AGREE TO WAIVE THE RIGHT TO TRIAL BY JURY OF ANY ACTION, SUIT, PROCEEDING, DISPUTE, CLAIM OR CONTROVERSY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE GIVEAWAY.  In the event of a dispute arising out of this Giveaway, you and First Service will attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute by mediation before a mutually agreed upon mediator, or, failing mutual agreement as to a mediator and/or alternatively, appointed by and through the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”), and to share equally in the cost of mediation. If the dispute is not resolved through mediation, it shall be resolved exclusively through binding arbitration.  ARBITRATION MUST BE ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS. The arbitration shall be conducted in Houston, Texas, by one neutral arbitrator chosen by AAA according to its Commercial Arbitration Rules.  Except where prohibited by law, by participating, you agree that any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this Giveaway.

Release of Claims: BY PARTICIPATING IN THE GIVEAWAY, ON BEHALF OF YOURSELF AND MEMBERS OF YOUR HOUSEHOLD, RELATIVES, HEIRS, ASSIGNS, EXECUTORS AND ADMINISTRATORS AND PERSONS WHO USE THE PRIZE AWARDED BY FIRST SERVICE, YOU RELEASE FIRST SERVICE, ITS EMPLOYEES, BOARD MEMBERS, AGENTS, OR REPRESENTATIVES (COLLECTIVELY “FIRST SERVICE PARTIES”) FROM ANY AND ALL LIABILITY FOR INJURIES, LOSSES OR DAMAGES OF ANY KIND (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION ATTORNEY’S FEES) CAUSED BY PARTICIPATING IN THE GIVEAWAY, AND/OR USE OF THE PRIZE, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, PERSONAL INJURY AND/OR DEATH, AND EACH ENTRANT AGREES TO INDEMNIFY AND HOLD FIRST SERVICE AND FIRST SERVICE PARTIES, JOINTLY AND SEVERALLY, HARMLESS FROM ANY AND ALL LOSSES, DAMAGES, RIGHTS, CLAIMS AND ACTIONS OF ANY KINDS ARISING FROM, IN CONNECTION WITH, OR AS A RESULT OF PARTICIPATING IN THE GIVEAWAY AND/OR USE OF THE PRIZE, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, PERSONAL INJURY AND/OR DEATH. IN NO EVENT SHALL FIRST SERVICE AND/OR THE FIRST SERVICE PARTIES BE LIABLE TO ANY ENTRANT OR PARTY FOR ANY LOSS OR INJURIES TO EARNINGS, PROFIT, OR GOODWILL, OR FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY PERSON OR ENTITY WHETHER ARISING IN CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
