Built in 2018, the University branch is one of First Service’s newest branches. It is also the only branch housed in a strip center. Located just off the north side of the Highway 59 University Blvd. exit, the branch shares a parking lot with the popular University Commons retail and dining center. The branch is just minutes away from the Museum of Natural Science and the University of Houston Sugar Land and is conveniently close to the Telfair subdivision. It also boasts 24/7 ATM access on the front of the building, but if there’s something more we can do, the team is waiting inside to help you with any of your financial needs.

  • Tinesha Robinson

    Branch Manager

    Tinesha Robinson joined First Service in 2024 and brings nine years of experience in financial services. Before stepping into her current role, Tinesha worked as a Contact Center Representative and as a Vault Teller at Park Ten, giving her a strong foundation across both member support and branch operations.

    Recognized for her dedication to service and teamwork, Tinesha has earned First Service’s 212 Award.

    She enjoys crocheting, crossword puzzles, coloring, home projects, and relaxing with movies and documentaries. Tinesha and her husband live in the Houston area and have two daughters.

  • Rafael Balderrábano, CRPC

    Financial Advisor and Insurance Agent
    Rafael has worked in the financial services industry since moving to Houston in 2007. His career extends over 30 years and has included management positions in areas such as wholesale, non-profits and government.
