The Woodlands Branch

Mady started in the financial services industry in 2016. She joined First Service in 2021 and was promoted to assistant branch manager within six months. She currently serves as the branch manager for the Woodlands and Spring Cypress branches. When Mady’s not assisting members with their needs at the Woodlands branch, she likes to ride four-wheelers with her two sons, go dancing with her fiancé, and she’s an admitted shopaholic.

Honey Balbino has been with First Service Credit Union since July 2022, currently serving as the Assistant Branch Manager at the Woodlands Branch. Over the past two years, Honey has demonstrated adaptability and growth across multiple roles, including Contact Center Representative, Teller, and Vault Teller. Her dedication to improving in each position is her proudest achievement. Outside of work, Honey enjoys karaoke, spending time with her family, and picnicking at the beach. She is married with two children and is a proud pet parent to two dogs, Snow and Oreo.

Vanessa Ortega, NMLS #514192, has worked in the mortgage industry and with credit unions since 2008. Beyond helping others finance their dream home, she often lends a helping hand in her personal life as well. Vanessa and her family are avid volunteers in the community. She and her family can be found each year serving in the Thanksgiving Super Feast at the George R. Brown. After helping her community, she still has time to raise her 3 sons and care for her many rescued pets.

Mike has been helping families reach their financial goals for over 30 years. He is a designated Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC). Nationally recognized, his focus remains on unwavering ethics, superior service, and exceptional professional knowledge for all seeking investment and insurance advice. Before becoming a Financial Advisor, Mike is proud to have served 21 years as a Naval Intelligence Officer. He received his undergraduate from Colorado State University and his M.A. from the University of Oklahoma. Mike is registered to sell securities, such as mutual funds, stocks, bonds, ETFs, UITs; and Life, Disability and Long Term Care Insurance products.
