Sponsor: First Service Credit Union (“Sponsor” or “First Service”), 16430 Park Ten Place, Houston, Texas 77084. 

Eligibility: The Giveaway is open to legal residents of the State of Texas who are at least eighteen (18) years of age as of the date of entry. Employees of Sponsor, its subsidiaries, their directors and volunteers, and members of their respective immediate families (spouses, parents, children and siblings), regardless of residence, and members of their households are not eligible to enter. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all respects. An entrant is not required to be approved for a loan, accept any loan terms, close or fund a loan, become a member of First Service, open an account, or purchase any product or service to enter or win. Participation in the Giveaway will not affect any credit decision, loan terms, underwriting criteria, or approval process for any product or service offered by First Service. Void where prohibited by law. Winner must reside in the State of Texas. 

Entry Period: The Giveaway begins Saturday, September 26, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. Central Time (“CT”) and ends immediately prior to the drawing, which is expected to occur at approximately 11:00 a.m. CT. If the Credit and Fraud Seminar is cancelled, postponed, delayed, or otherwise modified for any reason, including but not limited to technical issues, facility issues, weather events, or other events beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control, Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Giveaway, including the selection of a winner from eligible entries received prior to such event, in its sole discretion.

Giveaway Location: The Credit and Fraud Seminar will be conducted live at 3390 Sage Road, Houston, Texas 77056 (“Galleria Branch”). 

Entrants must be physically present at the Galleria Branch to be eligible to enter and win. Attendance at the seminar is for educational purposes. Attendees are under no obligation to engage in any financial transaction, open any account, apply for a loan, or purchase a vehicle. The Giveaway is not sponsored by, endorsed by, or affiliated with any third-party service provider discussed at the seminar. 

The Giveaway is intended solely as a promotional activity of First Service and is not intended to compensate or incentivize any person to apply for opening an account or obtain any financial product or service.

How to Enter: Limit one (1) total entry per person. Eligible individuals may enter the Giveaway by checking in for the Credit and Fraud Seminar in person on Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. CT at the Galleria Branch. Entry will be recorded at the time of event check-in; no additional action is required to enter. Entry into the Giveaway does not require any loan application, membership application, consultation, or follow-up communication with Sponsor or any third party. Applying for, opening, purchasing, or obtaining any financial product or service from Sponsor will not increase or otherwise impact an entrant’s chances of winning. Sponsor reserves the right to refuse, limit, or revoke any entry if it determines, in its sole discretion, that an entrant is not eligible or has violated these Official Rules.

Sponsor is not responsible for incomplete, interrupted, delayed, misdirected, corrupted, or unsuccessful submissions resulting from technical failures or other circumstances beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control.

Duplicate entries will be void. 

Entries submitted through automated entry devices, bots, scripts, macros, or other methods designed to circumvent the entry process or entry limits are void and may result in disqualification, as determined by Sponsor in its reasonable discretion.

Drawing: One (1) winner will be randomly selected from all eligible entries received during the Entry Period. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries. The drawing will take place at approximately 11:00 a.m. CT on September 26, 2026, at the conclusion of the Credit and Fraud Seminar. Entrants must be physically present at the Galleria Branch at the time his or her name is announced to be declared the winner. If the selected entrant is not present at the Galleria Branch at the time of announcement, that entrant will be disqualified and an alternate winner will be selected.

Prize: Winner will receive a one hundred dollar ($100) VISA gift card. The Visa gift card is issued by a third-party financial institution and is subject to the terms and conditions of the issuing institution. Visa is not a sponsor of, nor affiliated with, this Giveaway. Only one (1) prize will be awarded. Winner is solely responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes associated with the receipt and use of the prize. 

The prize is non-transferable and non-exchangeable. No substitution by the winner is permitted; however, Sponsor reserves the right to substitute the stated prize, in whole or in part, with a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable for any reason. Sponsor makes no warranties regarding the prize and is not responsible for any consequences related to the use of the prize. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, stolen, damaged, or unauthorized use of the gift card once it has been awarded to the winner.

Publicity: By accepting the prize, the winner grants permission for First Service and/or its designees to use his/her name, photographs, voice and/or other likeness and prize information for publicity and promotional purposes without further compensation, notice, review, or consent, unless prohibited by law and subject to any required consent under applicable law, in any and all forms of media, worldwide in perpetuity.

Prize Claim: The prize will be awarded at the time of the drawing. The winner must be physically present at the Galleria Branch and must accept the prize in person immediately upon verification of eligibility. If the selected winner declines the prize or fails to complete any required documentation at the time of award, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected. Only one (1) prize will be awarded in connection with the Giveaway. The prize will be awarded on-site at the Galleria Branch.

To receive the prize, the winner may be required to sign and return an Authorization and Release of Name, Image, Voice, or Likeness and provide any requested contact information for prize fulfillment. Failure to timely respond, complete required documentation, or otherwise comply with these Official Rules within the time period specified by Sponsor may result in forfeiture of the prize, and Sponsor may select an alternate winner in its sole discretion.

Sponsor may require winner to complete an IRS Form W-9 prior to prize delivery if required for tax reporting purposes.

Severability: If any provision of these Official Rules is determined to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

No Inducement: You agree that your entry into the Giveaway did not induce you to become a member of First Service or to open an account at First Service. Participation in this Giveaway and receipt of any prize is not conditioned upon, and will not increase based on, the purchase of any financial product or service, including but not limited to opening an account, applying for a loan, purchasing a vehicle, or obtaining any other financial product or service.

Compliance with the Law: All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of you and First Service in connection with the Giveaway, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Texas, without giving effect to any choice of law provisions. The Giveaway is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local and municipal laws and regulations. 

Disputes: BY PARTICIPATING IN THE GIVEAWAY, YOU AGREE TO WAIVE THE RIGHT TO TRIAL BY JURY OF ANY ACTION, SUIT, PROCEEDING, DISPUTE, CLAIM, OR CONTROVERSY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE GIVEAWAY. In the event of a dispute arising out of this Giveaway, you and First Service will attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute through mediation before a mutually agreed-upon mediator. If the parties cannot agree upon a mediator, a mediator will be appointed through the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”). If the dispute is not resolved through mediation, it shall be resolved exclusively through binding arbitration. ARBITRATION MUST BE ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS AND NOT ON A CLASS, COLLECTIVE, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE BASIS. The arbitration shall be conducted in Houston, Texas, by one neutral arbitrator administered by AAA in accordance with its Consumer Arbitration Rules then in effect, except as modified by these Official Rules. Except where prohibited by law, any claims, judgments, and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this Giveaway.

General Conditions: First Service reserves the right to cancel, suspend and/or modify the Giveaway, or any part of it, if any fraud, technical failure, natural disaster, human error or any other factor beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control, including but not limited to cyberattacks, system outages, technical malfunctions, or changes in applicable laws or regulations, impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Giveaway, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. In such event, Sponsor, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to award the prize at random from among the eligible entries received up to the time of the impairment. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Giveaway or to be acting in violation of the Official Rules. Sponsor also reserves the right to verify the eligibility of any entrant and to void any entry that Sponsor determines was submitted through fraudulent means or otherwise in violation of these Official Rules. Any attempt by any person to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the Giveaway may be a violation of criminal and/or civil law, and should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such person as allowed by applicable law. Sponsor’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. If the advertised prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control, Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value. Sponsor is not obligated to award more than the number of prizes stated in these Official Rules.

Release of Claims: BY PARTICIPATING IN THE GIVEAWAY, YOU RELEASE FIRST SERVICE, ITS EMPLOYEES, BOARD MEMBERS, AGENTS, OR REPRESENTATIVES (COLLECTIVELY “FIRST SERVICE PARTIES”) FROM ANY AND ALL LIABILITY FOR INJURIES, LOSSES OR DAMAGES OF ANY KIND (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION ATTORNEY’S FEES) CAUSED BY PARTICIPATING IN THE GIVEAWAY, AND/OR USE OF THE PRIZE, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, PERSONAL INJURY AND/OR DEATH, AND EACH ENTRANT AGREES TO INDEMNIFY AND HOLD FIRST SERVICE AND FIRST SERVICE PARTIES HARMLESS FROM ANY AND ALL LOSSES, DAMAGES, RIGHTS, CLAIMS AND ACTIONS OF ANY KIND ARISING FROM, IN CONNECTION WITH, OR AS A RESULT OF PARTICIPATING IN THE GIVEAWAY AND/OR USE OF THE PRIZE, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, PERSONAL INJURY AND/OR DEATH.
