When you open a new First Service Visa® credit card, six months with the 0% introductory APR period on purchases and transfers will be a standard feature of your account.
Once the introductory period ends, your rate will change to the standard APR (listed above).
To put it simply, credit cards are revolving lines of credit where a borrower uses what they need when they need it, and personal loans are lump-sum amounts that are paid all at once.
To better understand the difference between loan types, and to know when to use each, check out this article on our website.
You can make your monthly credit card payment using our form on FSCU.com, or you can make your payment using First Service Digital Banking by following the steps below:
Transferring a balance to your card is easy with First Service Digital Banking. Simply follow the steps below:
An Authorized Signer is a person that has been designated as having the authority to make charges on your account.
When you add an Authorized Signer to your First Service Visa® credit card, we will send them their own card with their name on it and access to your credit line. They should receive this card within 7 - 10 business days.
It's easy to add an Authorized Signer within First Service Digital Banking. Simply follow these steps:
Adding an Authorized Signer to your First Service Visa® credit card won't negatively impact your credit score or the credit score of the person you are adding. There is no credit pull required for either party. However, heavy card usage can diminish credit availability, which is a factor that influences your credit score.
If you are interested in improving your credit score, we have created a free guide to help you better understand what credit scores are, how they're calculated, and what you can do to improve yours over time.
There are no service charges or hidden fees for adding an Authorized Signer on your First Service Visa® credit card. Taking advantage of this feature won't cost you a thing.
The primary owner of the First Service Visa® credit card is responsible for all charges made on the account and interest accrued from those charges, as laid out in the card's terms. That includes charges made by an Authorized Signer.

[102] Credit Card Balance Transfers: APR = Annual Percentage Rate. Certain restrictions, limitations, and exclusions may apply. Transfer requests may be subject to application requirements at the time of transfer. During the introductory period of 0% APR, a balance transfer fee of 5% will be applied to each transfer. After the promo period ends, the standard APR (currently 7.99% – 18.00%) will apply to any remaining balances. Rates vary based on creditworthiness and underwriting factors. See credit card disclosure for complete terms and conditions.
[127] Cash Back Rewards: Cardholders can earn cash back rewards of 0.5% on all eligible net purchases. A net purchase is the amount of a purchase less any credits, returns, and adjustments. Cash back rewards for transactions posted before 8:00 p.m. Central Time on the last day of every month will be paid out on the last day of that month as a statement credit in U.S. Dollars and rounded to the nearest cent. Transactions posted after 8:00 p.m. Central Time will be posted on the last day of the following month and appear on the following month’s statement credit. Negative rewards will be held until amounts become positive and can be paid out. Certain transactions do not qualify for cash back rewards. These excluded transactions include cash advances, purchase of gift cards, balance transfers, checks, money orders, account fees or charges, interest charges, and any unauthorized/fraudulent charges. Account must be in good standing and not be delinquent more than 90 days for rewards to be paid out. Rewards do not expire, but unredeemed rewards are forfeited at the time of the account closing. Rewards program is subject to change at any time.
[34] CO-OP Shared Branching: Account access at CO-OP shared branches is available after 45 days of membership. Shared ATM access is available to members immediately.
