In some cases, your account may be placed on hold to safeguard you from fraudulent purchases. And don’t worry — you won’t be held accountable for timely reported unauthorized transactions through Visa’s Zero Liability Policy.*


Network Security

Our online banking and mobile banking app are equipped with multilayer firewalls and Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption to protect your account. SSL is a cryptosystem that creates a secure environment for the information being transferred between your browser and First Service.


EMV Chip Security

Report a Lost or Stolen Visa® Debit/Credit Card

If you notice your Visa® debit or credit card is missing, contact us immediately to block your card.

Prevent Fraud while Traveling

If you’re planning to travel domestically or abroad, let us know. Our Travel Monitoring Service from Visa® will manually review your purchases to protect against fraud and we may even call you to verify transactions.


Place a Fraud Alert or Credit Freeze

If you have experienced identity theft, you can place a free fraud alert with one of the three nationwide credit reporting companies. If not, you can choose to put a credit freeze on your file for a fee. Visit the Federal Trade Commission website to learn how.


Recover from Identity Theft

After experiencing identity theft, it can be difficult to know where to start in order to help limit or repair the damage. For step-by-step advice and resources from the federal government on how to report and recover from identity theft, visit IdentityTheft.gov.
